About FastTrack

FastTrack is Nordic Guarantee’s client portal. FastTrack offers you as a client excellent overview and control of your company’s bonds/guarantees, both as a contractor (bonds issued) and as a benficiary (bonds received). It is also very easy and simple to ask for quotations as well as order new bonds/guarantees.

FastTrack is continously developed with new functionality. Please feel free to contact your Business Manager with ideas and opinions regarding prioritized requirements.

The content in FastTrack

The information in FastTrack is updated at least once a day. Added or changed information will be visible no later than the next morning.

Your guarantees are listed under ‘My guarantees’, sorted on contract party (in alphabetical order).

Under each ‘Contract party’ you will find your guarantees that are connected with that contract party. To see the guarantees under each contract party, click on the plus sign (+) in front of ‘Contract party’. The guarantees are sorted chronologically, with the most recent issued guarantee in the top of the list.

Under each ‘Contract party’ you will also see which guarantees that are active and inactive. ‘Active’ and ‘Inactive’ is connected to the dates of start and termination of the guarantee that was stated when the guarantee was issued, for example as for projects with performance as well as maintenance bonds. When the termination date is passed for performance, the maintenance part is the valid one. If final inspection is not conducted when performance termination date is passed, you must contact us and state a new estimated termination date.
In FastTrack you can see ‘Inactive’ guarantees up to 6 months back in time.

In projects with both performance and maintenance bonds, the guarantees often have the same startdate since both most often are issued on the same occasion. However, this does not mean that the maintenance bond is parallel with the performance bond; the maintenance bond is starting automatically on termination of the performance bond.

If a guarantee is named ‘GretaConstruction’ instead of for example ‘Performance’, this only shows that it was originally issued in Nordic Guarantee’s previous insurance system. This has nothing to do with the guarantee content or validity.

You can sort the list by clicking on the triangle in the top of a column. To return to the original sorting just click on the column to the very left  (guarantee no), and you will return to chronological order, with the most recent guarantee in the top of the list.

The authorization feature

Do you want your company’s guarantee applications to be approved by an appointed person in your company before issuing guarantees? All we need is an e-mail address to the person in your company who is entitled to approve the applications. When an application is registered in FastTrack, a copy of the application along with approval request is sent to the appointed person, in order for the guarantee to be issued.

Security

Nordic Guarantee’s environment is protected by primary and secondary firewalls. For additional security there is also DMZ which means that the environment is separated from the internal network and protects against unauthorized access. In Nordic Guarantee’s network encryption is activated for identification of authorized users, based on AD-authorizations for additional protection and security.

FastTrack is using a so called SSL Certificate. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protects http transferred information by using encryption. An SSL-certificate contains a public key and a private key. A public key is used to encrypt information and a private key is used to decrypt it. When a web browser points to a secure domain, the server and client is authenticated by SLL and an encryption method and a unique session key is established.  A safe session can then begin, with maintained secrecy and integrity in messages.
